Our Strory

Tuokoleane Initiative (T.I) began in Machakos Boys High School in Machakos, Kenya, when the idea came in the brilliant minds of the prime founders Jose Munyenze and Ibrahim who were students in that school then. The early achievements of T.I include hosting an Annual Sharing Day in Machakos Boys High School, Conducting a fundraising to pay school fees for the students with the highest fee balances. The contribution was done by students who gave as much as they had. It moved their teachers that they also decided to chip in.

Later, after the founders were done with their secondary education, T.I went for a budding season untill it resumed officially in Mount Kenya University with Jose Munyenze as the co-founder and President of T.I. Since then, T.I has been able to achieve a lot of its goals. We managed to conduct various projects such as Street Feeding in Thika, Log-art motivation quotes in Mount Kenya University, evening coffees, T.I Get Togethers, T.I Galas, T.I Family Experience, T.I Model Competition where Mr. and Miss T.I were crowned, among many other projects.
